Job Description:

  • Account for global restricted stock units and options within the Firm’s books and records
  • Account for basic and fully diluted shares outstanding
  • Prepare Firmwide equity compensation P&L estimates, analysis and projections.
  • Research variances and respond to inquiries from global Senior Accounting Officers and divisional Finance teams.
  • Prepare equity-based compensation footnotes for the Firm’s public financial disclosures
  • Assist in Equity Accounting automation projects and liaise with Information Technology support team
  • Interface with other areas of the firm (including Corporate Financial Reporting, Treasury, Tax, HCM Equity Compensation).
  • Perform quarterly equity P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Perform and maintain support documentation in accordance with Sarbanes- Oxley legislation for various internal controls.
  • Perform various ad-hoc equity reporting and analysis.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Minimum 3+ years accounting experience.
  • Equity accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of FAS 123R (Share-Based Payment) and FAS 128 (Earnings per Share) preferred
  • CPA and/or Masters degree preferred
  • Excellent analytical & interpersonal skills.
  • Active team player and works well under pressure.
  • Extremely organized and the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be detail oriented and flexible to adapt to change.
  • Project oriented.
