Job Description:

The individual will assist in the fund allocation/reporting processes.  Responsibilities include:
§  Outside Investment Fee calculation processes
§  Assist with the month end close and allocation processes
§  Interface with our administrator on audit confirmations/investor reporting and month end close processes
§  Senior Management/Internal Reporting (e.g., redemption lock-up analysis, investor profile, performance, ISDA, etc.)
§  Weekly performance estimates and exception based investor level reporting
§  Streamline existing allocation/reporting processes
§  Testing various process/system related changes with respect to allocation/reporting/outside invest fee calculations

Requirements / Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent accounting skills and experience, strong communication (written and verbal), senior level reporting experience and spreadsheet (macro) skills. A strong work ethic/sense of ownership, initiative, and attention to detail combined with “big picture” problem-solving skills are also required. A positive, team oriented attitude with flexibility to manage change and identify opportunities for change is essential.

 

0-3 years prior accounting experience is required. Experience in public accounting and private industry is required. Exposure to Hedge Fund accounting and Geneva is a definite plus.

 

Education/Experience:
Previous experience with shareholder services and/or hedge fund experience preferred
BS or BA from top school is required (and prefer undergraduate GPA in excess of 3.5)
CPA a plus
