Market Data Finance Associate

• Administer invoices for all research related vendors, assist with market data invoices as needed
• Maintain inventory in the firm’s market data inventory management database (FITS)
• Provide close working support to ARDS’ Business Analysts
• Support monthly close processes
• Oversee finance and administration relationship with research vendors (Gerson Lehrman, Majestic Research, Coleman Research, MDRx, etc.)
• Contract management which includes support of ARDS’ analysts for managing renewals, tracking new agreements, and ensuring complete and accurate records in FITS
• Oversight of soft dollar and sales/use tax policy and administration
• Assist with budgets, ad hoc reporting, and special projects

• Strong analytical ability, familiarity with data analysis and database tools essential
• Accounting degree preferred, but will consider other educational backgrounds/equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years experience in an accounting, finance or market data environment required
• Facility with Excel, exposure to Access, SQL, and other database tools highly desirable
  ·         Market data experience, with exposure to the soft dollar process desirable
  ·         Experience with market data inventory management tools (FITS or similar) preferred
  ·         Detail oriented, strong team player, genuine interest in market data in an asset management environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills
