The firm, a highly successful multi-strategy Hedge Fund with several billion dollars in assets-under-management is seeking a bright, detail-oriented corporate accountant to join the firm’s Accounting, Treasury & Middle Office team. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the month-end close and financial statement process (including consolidation accounting), coordination of the annual tax and audit process, preparation of audited financial statements, income tax and K-1 review, tax projection/planning, and management reporting.  The firm’s accountants also interact with service providers, research and resolve issues, and develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Successful candidates will have the following background:

·4-5 years of experience in both public and private accounting in the investment/asset management sector with a specialization in corporate/management accounting and reporting. 

·Candidates should have the CPA credential

·A strong academic record, including a bachelor’s degree in accounting. 

·Exceptional spreadsheet and word processing skills are required, as are excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Private equity experience is a plus.
