This company is a credit long/short manager focused on identifying dislocations across the capital structure and employs a relative value market neutral approach in corporate credit, structured credit, and equity markets.


Job Description:
  • Support Investor Relations / Business Development team with current/prospective investors and consultants on requests for information
  • Manage and distribute monthly update materials
  • Respond to RFPs from prospective investors, consultants, etc. and coordinate investment and operational due diligence requests
  • Prepare and manage marketing materials, including pitchbooks, conference presentation materials, regulatory filings, DDQs, etc.
  • Maintain consultant databases current with risk and performance data
  • Update variety of monthly performance and risk statistics spreadsheets
  • Manage Backstop CRM system including (i) input investor transactions, (ii) update investor balances, (iii) track communications with investors, (iv) maintain investment pipeline, (v) maintain distribution lists, (vi) update client profiles (i.e. relevant news, departures/hires), and (vii) lead ad-hoc reporting projects
  • Manage process of subscriptions, redemptions and transfers; includes reconciling capital transactions and managing reporting generated by the Administrator
  • Prepare and manage reports for current and prospective investors including risk reporting, performance data, DDQ and ODD materials
  • Coordinate monthly investor call process

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • 2 – 6 years of work experience
  • Background in financial markets (at least one of the following);
  • Familiarity with derivatives a plus
  • Strong academic record from a top institution
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Willingness to work in a small, collaborative team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
