Summary

The Reporting & Accounting Analyst will support the fund and firm expense functions

Job Description:

· Perform complex expense allocations and analyses
· Provide senior management with regular and ad hoc expense reporting
· Proactively identify process and reporting improvements; drive change
· Analyze expense data to provide trends, identify anomalies, recommend action
· Lead expense accrual process
· Lead budget and forecasting processes, liaise with budget owners
· Participate in projects to implement, test and design enhancements and upgrades to ERP/general ledger system
· Prepare expense related investor reporting
· Interact with various departments including Senior Leaders


Requirements / Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a private financial services firm, hedge fund is preferred
· A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills including heavy use of pivot tables
· Ability to mine, organize and synthesize data, identifying key information
· Ability to prioritize  and meet deadlines
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation quality deliverables
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Maintain strict confidentiality
· Experience working with an ERP/general ledger system, knowledge of Agresso is a plus
