Job Description:
- Conduct research and analysis on banks, commercial real estate (REITs, property and loan level)
and specialty finance sectors. - Develop and maintain complex financial models and credit metrics and analyze trustee reports
- Support senior analysts and portfolio managers in generating data-driven investment ideas and
recommendations. - Prepare and present investment ideas, reports, and real time analysis
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Two to four years of relevant experience in relevant industry
• Background in equity research or credit analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or related field
• Advanced analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Investment experience is a plus
• CFA or CPA designation or progress towards obtaining one is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
