Seeking an Assistant Controller to support the CEO, Controller, & deal team.
Company Information:
Our client is a well-esablished SEC-registered BDC/direct lending fund located in Midtown. This role involves in all stages of fund accounting, treasury, and loan operations, while coordinating with fund administrators and having oversight over reporting duties. You will work closely with various stakeholders and gain significant exposure to senior finance and operations personnel.
Job Description:
- Support Accounting Team: Assist with all finance functions and review fund administrator and management company records.
- Investment Operations: Facilitate trade and settlement processes, conduct investment monitoring and reconciliation, and manage internal reporting.
- Treasury Functions: Assist with treasury-related tasks and handle investor reporting requests.
- Shadow Accounting: Maintain internal records and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of straight public accounting or Funds
- Proficiency with Excel required
- Attention to detail along with ability to multitask and prioritize
- Must be able to think strategically and execute tactically
