Company Information:
Bitcoin financial services and infrastructure firm is seeking a Product Controller to join a newly created business line to directly support the CFO in a “mini-CFO” function!
Job Description:
The role will focus on supporting the derivative trading and lending businesses and expand well beyond with deliverables involving but not limited to, financial planning & analysis, and financial reporting. This role will also significant exposure to the head of the trading desk!
Responsibilities also include:
● Support the month end financial statement close process for the Derivative Trading & Lending businesses and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
● Create processes and procedures for accounting activities.
● Daily revenue reporting: reconciling trading desk estimates to actuals, identifying variances and coordinating with relevant groups to resolve.
● Collaborate with the Finance team to prepare workpapers for external and internal audit.
● Collaborate with senior members of the finance team on ad hoc projects.
● Daily cash reporting: assist with monitoring and forecasting the cash flow and liquidity of the derivatives and lending businesses, managing the bank accounts and transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
● Automation: developing and implementing automated processes and systems to streamline and optimize the reporting workflow
Estimated Base Salary Range: $125,000-$160,000 + Equity. The client is also positioned to offer a relocation payment for a candidate coming from outside the NY Market!
Requirements / Qualifications:
The client is seeking approximately 4-6 years of experience, Public + Private Mix w/ CPA and experience in a Product Control function at an Investment Bank. (Flexible on Products: Derivatives, Equities, Fixed Income etc.)
