The Client Service Associate role handles a mix of customer service responsibilities and operational functions related to investor capital activity.

Job Description:

Becoming an Investor Relations Operations subject matter expert on the firm’s investor base and investor capital activity 
Ownership of investor subscription, redemption, and transfer processes  Coordinate and undertake investor document collection and review with fund administrator and fund counsel, including capital activity forms and other associated documents related to investor regulatory compliance 
Assist investors with document completion and other questions/concerns related to their investment(s) with the firm 
Maintain internal investor capital activity and regulatory compliance databases 
Regular reconciliation with fund administrators to ensure smooth and accurate processing of capital activity and investor records 
Partner with internal and external fund counsel and fund administrators to implement new investor-focused rules and regulations 
Produce and update internal reporting for consumption by the Investor Relations/Business Development team, legal and compliance, fund accounting, and the trading desk 
Identify and implement process improvements across all areas of responsibility 
Assist with cross-departmental projects to improve the flow of information across the firm

Requirements / Qualifications:

2-4 years of relevant experience in financial service is required 

Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Impeccable attention to detail 

Strong work ethic and judgement 

Professional, customer service attitude 

Analytical thinker 

Team player 

Confident, not afraid to ask questions
