Job Description:
Structure, execute, and manage risk for financing transactions backed by credit assets, including corporate bonds, leveraged loans, asset-backed securities, and private credit.
Oversee the financing book, focusing on margin optimization and leverage facility management.
Maintain and cultivate relationships with funding providers across investment banks and non-bank lenders.
Analyze market trends proactively to identify opportunities for expanding leverage capacity within and beyond the banking system.
Develop and implement consistent, robust financing processes across public and private credit investments.
Collaborate with investment teams and internal functions.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience at a buy-side firm or investment bank
Familiarity with financing arrangements and credit underwriting processes
Experience with financing credit and structured assets using repurchase agreements, margin loans, recourse and non-recourse credit lines and facilities, total return swaps, repackaging, and synthetic securitizations
Proficiency in developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts
Strong attention to detail and well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated interest in financial markets
Experience with end-to-end financing product development and transaction lifecycle management
Preferred: experience conducting fundamental credit or quantitative investment analysis
