Job Description:
- Independently pursue data opportunities and building analytical models
- Develop models to forecast key performance indicators (KPIs) using alternative data and generate actionable insights to support investment decisions
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and assess data trends, market movements, and data source quality, communicating your findings and recommendations to colleagues, as well as technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Applying data to the investment process, combining both traditional methods and the firm’s systematic capabilities
- Draw principled conclusions from data, ensure your work adheres to the legal and compliance framework of the firm, and identify and address potential data integrity and cleanliness challenges
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent required (in a technical or quantitative field)
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- A demonstrated record of academic and professional achievement
- The ability to dive into details, take initiative, collaborate effectively with a global team, and manage and drive complex projects to completion is essential
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, specifically Python and SQL, and advanced working knowledge of Excel
