Job Description:
- Maintain strong relationships with institutions, consultants, family offices and high net worth investors
- Effectively communicate Fund performance, portfolio positioning, and a wide variety of other topics with existing and prospective investors
- Find and develop new relationships with potential investors across multiple verticals(institutions, consultants, pensions, family offices, HNWI, RIAs, Fund of Funds, etc.)
- Create travel schedule around current clients and prospective investors
- Nurture strategic relationships with prime broker capital introduction teams to assist with identifying prospects, mandates and cap intro conferences.
- Lead operational due diligence meetings with investors and ISDA/Credit counterparties.
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and presentation of marketing materials, including RFPs/DDQs, pitchbooks, presentation decks, quarterly letters, and other ad‐hoc requests.
- Proactively attend industry conferences to represent the fund and network with potential investors.
- Keep senior management aware of product interest of allocators and assist in development of all new product launches/co‐investment vehicles.
- Manage, develop, and mentor other members of the investor relations team.
- Work with GC and CCO on client related regulatory and compliance issues.
- Work with accounting team and administrator on ad‐hoc investor requests.
- Participate as a member of Risk Management Committee.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Demonstrated history of success in investor relations, business development, product specialist and/or investment‐decision making capacities
- The ability to collaborate and manage various projects simultaneously
- Passion for following market news and trends
- Ability to learn, understand, and articulate product offerings, investment vehicles and underlying investments.
