Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly closing procedures including, but not limited to, booking entries, balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and variance analyses
- Assist with preparation of monthly and/or quarterly management reporting packages
- Responsible for certain regulatory filings
- Preparation of US GAAP financial statement footnotes and related analyses
- Coordination of audit requests
- Assist with special ad hoc projects
- Conduct self in a professional manner and take responsibility for work and commitments
- Flexible approach to meet the changing needs of team
- Identify and make suggestions for efficiencies and improvements when performing work
Requirements / Qualifications:
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
- Minimum GPA 3.5
- Technical proficiency with MS Office and strong MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical reasoning skills required and experience working with large data sets helpful
- Interest in financial services and a future career in financial services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Self-motivator
