The firm is hiring a FP&A Manager to oversee their Financial Planning & Analysis group. This team is responsible for internal management reporting and analysis, reporting to shareholders, BOD presentations, the annual budget process, ownership of management information and enhancement of the information systems (SAP BPC/BEx).

Job Description:


  • Supervise, develop and mentor the FP&A team
  • Enhance financial analysis, management reporting and related processes
  • Prepare / analyze monthly management reports, executive packages, shareholder reports, and BOD presentations
  • Lead the budgeting & forecasting process to support profit objectives
  • Build processes to support internal expense allocation across business activities
  • Own the financial information system (SAP BPC) which includes system maintenance (hierarchies, master data and reporting standards)
  • Driving overall enhancements to key processes related to financial data management including consistency of data across organization
  • Monitor performance, analyze drivers of variances, highlight trends and make recommendations to management
  • Facilitate training and development of the financial information system
  • Active participation in special projects
  • Contribute to our continuing process improvement initiatives

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Degree in Accounting , Finance, or related degree
  • 8+ years of related experience creating financial reports and analyzing the results to provide strategic guidance and sound business decision support to management
  • Knowledge of SAP, BPC or similar systems (Hyperion, TM1) is required
  • Understanding of corporate finance and financial statements
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling
  • Understanding of capital markets, asset classes including commodities, and financial instruments is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Results oriented, strong organizational and process skills with ability to multi-task
  • Previous supervisory experience required
