Job Description:
The Global Head of P&L will oversee the production of T1 valuation control process and assist in preparing
monthly presentation to Valuation Committee. The individual will be responsible for analyzing P&L, risk, and
pricing processes in addition to liaising between front office, technology, risk management and operations for
any pricing or valuation issues.
P&L Explanation – provide T+1 P&L explanation to both senior management and the portfolio managers.
Pricing – responsible for monitoring the pricing activity of all fixed income and equity instruments. In
conjunction with risk and fixed income technology, establish procedures and methods for the pricing of
instruments within the firm.
Primary Interface – the function will interface primarily with portfolio managers, operations, fund
accounting, Risk, and etc. to resolve P&L related issues and coordinate the resolution of those issues.
Overseeing Daily/Monthly Valuation Controls – responsible for reviewing valuations for the entire firm’s
portfolio, covering a wide variety of products including; bonds, credit, rates, FX, options, futures, and equity.
Contribute to the preparation of monthly valuation committee package and be a source of expertise for the
committee.
Senior Management Reporting – assist in preparing monthly presentation to the firm’s Valuation
Committee.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
Experience in leading and responsible for the daily valuation of a global portfolio for world-class organizations.
Experience with Product and Valuation Control for Interest rate derivatives, FX options, MBS & ABS, CLO’s, Credit derivatives, Inflation derivatives, Exotic rates and FX derivatives, Bonds, Loans and Equities, and Equity derivatives.
Proven success interacting cross-functionally, resulting in process improvements and technological enhancements that drove automation/scalability.
