One of the top and Global Macro Hedge Fund Managers in New York City has an immediate opening for a Trading Assistant. This role directly supports the Portfolio Manager / Traders and will significant support of the Front Office daily!
Job Description:
This is an all-encompassing Front to Back Trade Life Cycle role and the TA will be responsible for providing P&L and Market Commentary to the PM.
Additional responsibilities include:
*P&L Calculations
*Booking of Trades
*Corporate Actions
*Communications with the Prime Broker and Fund Administrator
*Exposure to a wide array of products including Fixed Income, CDS, CDX, IRS, Bank Debt + more
This role is open as several prior hires have been recently promoted and the firm is continuing to grow!
The client is seeking candidates with 3-5 years of Operations experience from a competing Hedge Fund and/or top-tier Investment Bank with exposure to the derivatives products.
Strong knowledge in Excel+++
Requirements / Qualifications:
Seeking candidates with 3-7 years of Operations experience from a competing buy-side fund, fund administration firm and/or investment bank.
