Job Description:
- Responsible for deal sourcing by identifying and connecting with emerging companies
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, researchers and other product strategists to cultivate a deep understanding of our investment approach, portfolios and performance
- Draft comprehensive investment memos
- Lead the commercial due diligence process
- Underwrite investment opportunities utilizing collateral-specific credit analyses
- Review diligence materials with a focus on evaluating and manipulating loan tapes to perform credit analysis
- Exhibit subject matter expertise across financial statement analysis and fixed-income transaction mechanics
- Monitor portfolio companies to ensure accurate reporting and generate performance reviews
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A professional network in the fintech and specialty finance ecosystems
- 5+ years of experience across structured / asset-based finance
- Strong knowledge of credit underwriting and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills
