Job Description:
- Developing and executing financing strategies for GPs and LPs, including fund-level leverage, co-investment facilities, and secondary transactions
- Identifying and sourcing new business opportunities by leveraging existing relationships and establishing new connections within the private equity community
- Leading negotiations and structuring of financing transactions, ensuring alignment with clients’ strategic objectives and capital needs
- Collaborating with internal teams to assess and execute complex financing solutions, ensuring seamless integration with HPS’s broader investment strategies
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degrees are often preferred
- 10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related financial services, with a focus on debt and equity originations
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Advanced knowledge of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- High degree of professional maturity, attention to detail, and a robust work ethic
- In-depth understanding of private equity fund structures, capital markets, and financing solutions tailored for GPs and LPs
- Awareness of current market trends, regulatory changes, and their implications for financing strategies
- Relevant certifications such as CFA or MBA are advantageous
