Summary

Role is open due to team expanding and will be reporting into the Controller. It will sit on the Real Estate platform the firm has which is a little over $8B AUM and has more than 180 transactions throughout 20 different Real Estate classes including gaming, industrial, hotels, golf, condos, ski resorts, stadiums, student housing and more!

Job Description:
  • Execution, settlement, accounting treatment, and reporting of firm’s private equity and real estate investments
  • Communication and coordination with investment team, internal counsel, Investor relations and other internal teams
  • Review profit & loss analytics on PE/Real Estate investments
  • Prepare quarterly investment performance track records
  • Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly reporting
  • GAAP financial statement preparation

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Approximately 3-4 years of work experience and the ideal candidate would have either public
accounting (real estate fund/private equity auditing) experience and private fund accounting
experience (with a RE/PE fund or administrator)
• Strong knowledge of investment company accounting, partnership accounting and the
investor capital allocations process
• Knowledge of complex fund and Special Purpose Vehicle structures
• Experience in Private or Real Estate Investment transaction operations and accounting
• Knowledge of fund investor capital and profit & loss allocations process including calculation
of complex incentive and management fee rates, hurdle rates, side pocket accounting and
profit & loss allocation, etc.
• Very strong Excel skills
