Job Description:

Fund Accounting, Management Company Accounting & Financial Reporting including:

  • Oversee all accounting functions for private equity funds, including journal entries, NAV calculations, and performance reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Review and approve capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
  • Investor Reporting & Relations
  • Manage investor reporting process, including capital account statements, IRR analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate audit processes with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Respond to investor inquiries and support the investor relations team.
  • Compliance & Regulatory
  • Ensure compliance with fund legal documents, internal policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, AIFMD).
  • Monitor fund cash flows, manage working capital, and oversee wire transfers and banking relationships.
  • Coordinate capital activity, including drawdowns and distributions, in alignment with investment activity.
  • Team Leadership & Process Improvement
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in fund operations.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.

  • 4-7 years of experience in Private Equity Audits or Fund Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of investment fund structures, waterfalls, and valuation techniques.
  • Proficiency in fund accounting software (e.g., Investran, eFront, or similar).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background working at a fund administrator, audit firm, or PE firm.

Total Compensation up to $250,000 – (Negotiable)
