Job Description:

Overview of Position:
The position will primarily be responsible for maintaining current and historical portfolio company financial and operating metrics, performing quantitative and qualitative analysis at the fund and individual portfolio company level, evaluating quarterly portfolio company valuations and preparing internal and external portfolio reporting. The position will help support senior management, accounting, fundraising and investor relations teams.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist in the preparation and review of portfolio company and fund-level reporting
• Use iLEVEL software platform to collect, maintain and analyze portfolio company financials and KPIs
• Work with Deal Team to review valuations of portfolio companies quarterly
• Assist senior management with ad hoc performance and forecasting analyses
• Prepare LP inquiries and due diligence requests which may require collaboration with fundraising and investor relations groups
• Work with IT department in the design and implementation of new procedures and integration of systems to assist in the collection and dissemination of portfolio company data


Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
• 3-plus years of Accounting or Finance experience
• BS in Business-related discipline (CPA a plus)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in intermediate Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and quality conscious
• Analytical aptitude and proficiency

Ideal candidate:
• Experience with private company valuations and portfolio monitoring software (iLevel a plus)
• Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision and demonstrates ownership of assigned work
• Able to identify, scrutinize, improve, and streamline complex work processes
• Team player who excels at building relationships by displaying flexibility and willingness to contribute to a small dynamic team
