Looking for a Senior Compensation Accountant to join the team!

Job Description:

-Supervise the calculation of monthly accruals for salary, bonus, payroll tax, severance and vacation
− Calculate monthly accruals for amortization at grant date fair value, mark to market and employer tax expenses on share-based awards
− Prepare budgets / projections for salary, bonus, payroll tax and share-based awards
− Manage vendor relationships (e.g., AST, ADP, Banks, Benefit vendors)
− Ensure sound operational controls are maintained and followed in compliance with existing internal / external governances
− Prepare financial statements for the annual 401(k) audit and Form 5500
− Perform and maintain support documentation in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation
− Assist in the preparation of high-level compensation analytics
− Perform testing of system enhancements and liaise with the Technology Solutions Support Team
− Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
− Prepare standard management reports for various groups and respond to ad-hoc queries
− Reconcile data between the Human Capital Management (HCM) and Compensation Accounting applications
− Reconcile sub-ledger balances to the general ledger and quarterly balance sheet
− Manage a team member to ensure timely, accurate monthly and year-end closings, reconciliations and analyses

Requirements / Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in an Accounting role required
− 3 to 5 years of Compensation Accounting experience preferred
− Supervisory experience a plus
− Strong organizational and analytical skills
− Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to follow through
− Strong communication and interpersonal skills
− Understanding of sensitive and confidential information
− Ability to drive projects to completion independently, while also functioning effectively in a
team environment
− Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
