The Senior Operations Analyst’s main responsibility will be to provide Middle Office expertise and support with respect to the firm’s investments in a diverse portfolio of fixed income securities: CLOs, CBOs, CFOs, ABS, CDO, RMBS, CMBS, Mortgages, and other structured products. Your primary responsibility is to manage and oversee a portfolio of assigned transactions on a day-to-day basis. This includes ensuring the accuracy of monthly servicing processes, delivering high-quality customer service to the desk, investors, and other third parties. Interacting with internal partners to ensure compliance with risk management procedures. 

 


Job Description:
  • Responsibilities will include trade settlement, margin processing, and trade and position reconciliations for fixed income securities, including mortgage-backed securities, CLOS, corporates, mortgages, and derivatives. 
  • Review and support the reconciliation process provided by third party partners between Investment Book of Record, custodians, prime brokers, and trading system 
  • Serve as liaison to third party technology, data, and service providers 
  • Support the internal performance and exposure & risk analytics functions and platforms, research position, transaction, and performance issues 
  • Participate in the firm’s cash management & treasury functions, supporting liquidity and collateral management practices including effecting wire transfers 
  • Manage leverage facilities and relationships with counterparties. 
  • Capital markets operations for issued securitizations. 
  • Compile and distribute daily and/or monthly reporting. 
  • Provide support for business development efforts. Coordinate with internal and external counterparts to complete ad hoc and ongoing special projects. 
  • Capture and organize data for ongoing systems enhancements. Improve standing business processes and systems using technical solutions. 
  • Prepare portfolio and manager-level reports; analyze portfolio results including holdings, returns, leverage, exposures, etc. 
  • Assist with the management of and oversight practices related to third party service providers and counterparty management 
  • Execute department procedures and controls to ensure adherence to department quality and precision standards 
  • Lead or assist with projects supporting the development and integration of credit business lines including gathering business requirements, preparation of project documentation; assist with the creation and implementation of procedures, workflows, and controls. 

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in bank or asset management operations. 
  • Fixed income, structured products, or operations knowledge required. Mortgage loan knowledge a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Business Administration or Finance degree preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Excel and advanced knowledge of functions preferred. Advanced knowledge of macros a plus. 
  • Significant interaction with the business requiring strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Bloomberg, Geneva is a plus, Enfusion is a plus
