Job Description:
- Collaborate with the deal team on pre-close and ongoing surveillance of asset backed loan transactions
- Coordinate with deal teams through material deal changes
- Aggregate and maintain security master data for investments, including investment terms and conditions and transaction performance data, and ensure information is properly disseminated across the firm and internal systems
- Collect, map, and integrate underlying collateral data into risk and reporting tools and models
- Build and maintain cash flow and collateral performance models
- Manage the borrowing base review process, working with borrowers and 3rd party agents
- Track borrower compliance with deal requirements
- Own third party management, including vetting and negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships
- Support deal workouts and restructuring by coordinating third parties, reporting, and assisting deal leads with strategic execution on management of sub-performing investments
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or greater) from an accredited institution
- 6-10 years of experience with an asset management firm, private equity firm, lender, owner/ operator, servicer, investment bank or broker
- Strong knowledge of ABS/ABL products
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Nice to have experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence too.
- Nice to have programing language, ideally Python and/or SQL
