Job Description:
Manage updates and amendments to credit agreements, with a strong grasp of legal documentation.
Spread and analyze financial statements to assess creditworthiness.
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and risk.
Attend board meetings for portfolio companies to stay informed and engaged.
Draft investment memoranda and credit amendment proposals.
Collaborate with legal teams to execute transaction documents and amendments.
Identify and implement opportunities to optimize portfolio operations.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 4 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills, including spreading financials and stress-testing projections.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data platforms such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with portfolio management tools and credit monitoring systems is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of credit agreements and legal documentation related to loan amendments, waivers, and restructurings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare investment memos and present to committees.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
