Job Description:
- Manage valuation, accounting, and reporting functions, primarily for private direct investments within the portfolio.
- Conduct and evaluate private company valuations using various methodologies, partnering with external experts to develop, maintain, and review financial models.
- Perform comprehensive research on companies, industries, and markets to gather data and insights that support valuation inputs, assumptions, and conclusions.
- Support due diligence efforts by analyzing financial statements, proxy filings, and other relevant materials to evaluate performance and identify risks.
- Organize and synthesize large volumes of data into standardized formats for use in reports, presentations, and internal memos.
- Collaborate effectively with investment professionals, legal teams, auditors, and other stakeholders, clearly communicating methodologies, findings, and addressing questions or concerns.
- Ensure valuation processes adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices, fostering consistency across departments.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain critical financial data from managers and company reports, liaising with general partners and company management as needed.
- Partner closely with investment and legal teams during transaction closings, focusing on structural analysis, and provide ongoing support throughout the investment lifecycle.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 4-9 Years of valuation experience from a Consulting Firm, Big 4, or Fund
- CPA or CFA is a Plus
- In Office Policy: 3x per week (home on Mondays and Fridays)
