Summary
The position will be responsible for management of all accounting and finance needs of the firm’s funds, which primarily involves quantitative investment strategies. It will also take the lead to work on strategic initiatives and projects.

Job Description:
- Oversee and mentor fund accountants
- Assist with investor reporting preparation and ad-hoc reporting requests
- Manage the annual preparation and issuance of the financial statements
- Fund fee and expense accrual management
- Monitor and advise on fund tax considerations
- Manage service providers and problem resolution
- Monitor cash across fund vehicles/treasury management
- Work with system providers to implement efficient workflows and maintain General Ledgers
- Gain experience with derivatives including futures, swaps, forwards, and options
- Maintain a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of projects and tasks assigned
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Understanding of hedge fund structures
- CPA preferred
- Ability to mentor and oversee a team
