New Valuations Analyst opening with a Leading Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund in NYC. They are looking for someone to join the newly launched Private Equity side of the business, and help build it out from the ground level.
The Valuation Analyst will perform and review valuation modeling and analyses, specifically related to private equity and real estate investments. The group will also help support portfolio analytics and reporting to provide insights to senior management, which entails analyses of trends and metrics across the entire portfolio.

Job Description:
• Perform and review valuation analyses on a wide range of private equity and real estate investments
• Analyze financial models including discounted cash flows, market multiples and transaction approaches, option pricing analyses
• Provide management with valuation updates and portfolio analytics
• Liaise investment professionals to better understand and document rationale and evidence of fair value
• Assist the firm in developing and evaluating valuation processes and procedures
• Determine and track relevant model inputs and KPIs to assist in management and performance reporting
• Liaise with third party valuation service providers and auditors
• Ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-4 years of experience
• Strong modeling/valuations experience
• Financial Services experience required
