Deal Closing Analyst, Private Credit

Our client, a growing investment manager ($60B AUM) with offices is NYC and South Florida is seeking a Deal Closing Associate to support the execution of private credit transactions after investment approval, ensuring deals close smoothly from documentation through funding and final handoff. This role will manage closing workflows, coordinate across internal and external parties, and drive timely completion of all closing conditions, cash movements, and operational setup.  Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in private credit closings, loan operations, deal execution, or middle office.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support post-origination execution process from approval through closing and funding across private credit transactions
  • Assist with closing checklists and coordinate deliverables with internal deal teams, external counsel, borrowers, and agent banks
  • Track and resolve outstanding items (conditions precedent, diligence deliverables, executed docs, settlement details)
  • Coordinate funding mechanics: validate funding amounts, fees, OID, expense allocations, and wiring instructions
  • Ensure accurate loan onboarding/setup with administrators/custodians (facility terms, payment schedules, rates, key dates)
  • Maintain complete documentation packages and ensure audit-ready recordkeeping
  • Support post-close items including ticklers, reporting requirements, and ongoing loan lifecycle events as needed

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in private credit closings, loan operations, deal execution, or middle office
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation and funding workflows in direct lending / private credit
  • Experience with delayed draw facilities, add-ons, amendments, and multi-lender/club deals
  • Familiarity with VPM, Sentry, Portfolio BI

Pay: $50/hr- $60/hr
