Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator for a temporary opportunity in NYC. This assignment is expected to run through January, with the potential to become permanent. The Estimator will support complex and large-scale projects, including conceptual estimates, budgets, negotiated bids, quantity take-offs, value engineering, and subcontractor coordination.
Responsibilities Include:
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor and materials
- Assist with budgets, bids, value engineering, and risk analysis
- Manage subcontractor solicitation and scope sheets
- Perform quality control on bids and estimates
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, designers, and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Previous construction estimating experience
- Strong understanding of drawings, take-offs, and cost estimating
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite in NYC Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25-$28/hr
