Our client, a global investment bank in Midtown, NY, is looking to add a Project Coordinator to their Global IT team! This role sits at the center of the bank’s innovation efforts for the Americas, acting as the go-between for new technologies, digital tools, and AI use cases as they move from idea to implementation. The ideal candidate is a strong project coordinator who’s comfortable working across business lines, IT, and support functions, and who has supported Risk & Compliance IT and Automation initiatives.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating evaluation and approval of new tools, technologies, and processes involving data to ensure compliant implementation
- Supporting IT Innovation efforts by organizing initiatives, watch programs (including FinTech), and local innovation communities
- Coordinating innovation projects by working between local end users and Head Office teams to roll out AI use cases
- Ensuring all system implementations follow the bank’s System Project Life Cycle (SPLC) and Global GIT project management methodology, and meet US regulatory and cybersecurity standards
Requirements:
- At least five years of experience in project coordination or innovation/technology roles, ideally with a global investment bank
- Familiarity with financial regulatory and cybersecurity considerations around system implementation
- Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising across business lines, geographies, and external vendors
Pay: $50-52/hour
