Responsibilities:
- Recording litigation documents in the department’s docketing database and, under supervision, calculating procedural deadlines
- Providing e-filing support through Federal PACER/CM-ECF and other federal and state court electronic filing systems
- Assisting with the maintenance and accuracy of the litigation docket
- Providing administrative support to docketing leadership and the Managing Attorney’s Office
- Generating, proofreading, and distributing departmental communications, documents, forms, and reports
- Creating and maintaining department-wide files, libraries, and databases; performing data entry and coordinating with internal personnel to ensure data accuracy
- Preparing invoices for submission to Finance/Accounting and maintaining related files
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of one year of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate environment
- Experience with calendaring or docketing systems such as Milana, eDockets, CompuLaw, or MA3000 preferred
- Experience e-filing documents through Federal CM/ECF and/or state court systems required
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated experience working with databases
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving skills and a client-service mindset
- Flexibility to work evening or additional hours as needed
