Our client, a well-known and established Hedge Fund in New York, NY, is looking for an Office Administrator! Responsibilities include coordinating the office calendar to manage office meetings, sitting at Reception and screening incoming phone calls, and managing various office administration duties such as taking inventory of office and kitchen supplies. This person will also be handling light accounting work such as expense filing and invoice management. The ideal candidate will come with 2+ years' experience as an Office Administrator for an asset management firm, exceptional communication and time management skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities Include:
- Fielding and directing incoming phone calls for the firm's clients and external vendors
- Managing the office calendar and assisting with booking business-related meetings and travel arrangements
- Greeting guests and visitors, and directing them to the appropriate area or conference room
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience as an Office Administrator for an established asset management firm
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
