Our client is seeking an organized, customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a 62+ active adult housing community. Working closely with the Property Manager, this individual will help oversee administrative functions, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and overall property operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys building positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members. Experience in property management, senior living, hospitality, or multifamily housing is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Property Manager with the daily operations of the community, ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, prospective residents, vendors, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and assist with service requests, lease-related documentation, notices, and general community communications.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, monitor work orders, and follow up to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
  • Support move-ins, move-outs, resident files, and general leasing and administrative activities.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, scheduling, and maintaining service records.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and property documentation while maintaining organized resident and operational files.
  • Support rent collection, accounts receivable, and other property administration functions as needed.
  • Assist with planning resident events, meetings, and community activities to foster resident engagement.
  • Provide general operational support and serve as a backup to the Property Manager when needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in property management, assistant property management, leasing, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating maintenance requests and working with vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in multifamily housing, senior living, or residential property management preferred.

Pay: $25/hr – $30/hr
