Our client, a leading financial services firm in New York City, is seeking a Warehouse Loan Operations Associate to join its Structured Products team. This role will support the day-to-day operations, closing, funding, and settlement of warehouse lending facilities, while partnering with Origination, Portfolio Management, Treasury, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in Warehouse Lending, Asset-Backed Finance, Structured Finance, or Structured Loan Operations. Candidates should have a strong understanding of warehouse facilities, borrowing bases, loan closings, funding, and transaction settlements.
Responsibilities
- Support the closing, funding, and settlement of warehouse lending transactions.
- Process and validate draw requests, borrowing base calculations, and covenant requirements.
- Coordinate with Administrative Agents, Paying Agents, legal counsel, and other transaction parties.
- Review conditions precedent and ensure funding requirements are satisfied prior to closing.
- Process loan fundings, wire instructions, payment waterfalls, and cash movements.
- Monitor transaction activity and reconcile settlement and funding discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate loan and transaction data within internal systems.
- Support investor reporting, portfolio reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Partner with Origination, Portfolio Management, Treasury, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance on transaction-related matters.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Warehouse Lending, Asset-Backed Finance, Structured Finance, or related Loan Operations.
- Hands-on warehouse lending experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with loan closings, funding, settlements, and draw requests.
- Understanding of borrowing base structures, waterfalls, collateral requirements, and covenant compliance.
- Experience working with Administrative Agents, Paying Agents, legal counsel, and other transaction counterparties.
- ClearPar or similar loan management system experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Pay: $60/hr -$70/hr
