The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who wants to build, not just maintain. Our infrastructure spans a 700+ server fleet across RHEL/Rocky Linux and Windows, on-premises data centers, AWS and Azure cloud environments, and a rapidly expanding AI infrastructure portfolio. You’ll work directly with senior technical leadership to design and deliver platforms that run without compromise in a high-stakes financial environment.
This is a hands-on role with broad scope: compute, storage, networking, security, cloud, and automation are all in play. If you’re energized by complex systems, take pride in craftsmanship, and want your work to matter in a production environment where reliability is non-negotiable — this is worth a look.

What You’ll Work On
Linux & Windows infrastructure
•  Manage and scale a 700+ server fleet running RHEL/Rocky Linux and Windows Server in production
•  Own Linux hardening, performance tuning, and automation across a complex, regulated environment
•  Administer Hyper-V virtualization and Docker/OCI container runtimes
Automation & IaC
•  Write and maintain Terraform and Ansible for cloud and on-premises provisioning at scale
•  Build Python, Bash, and PowerShell tooling for automation, alerting, and operational workflows
•  Develop and maintain GitHub CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation
Cloud & hybrid infrastructure
•  Deploy and operate infrastructure across AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) and Azure (Entra ID)
•  Manage hybrid connectivity via AWS Direct Connect and maintain IaC standards across environments
Security & observability
•  Engineer Splunk SIEM correlation searches, detection tuning, and operational response workflows
•  Manage CrowdStrike Falcon EDR deployment, policy management, and detection engineering
•  Run vulnerability management via Tenable and endpoint telemetry via Sysmon and auditd/Laurel
•  Operate centralized monitoring across Prometheus, Grafana, the ELK Stack, and Cilium/Hubble
Storage & networking
•  Manage tiered storage architectures spanning NFS, Fibre Channel, and NVMe across NetApp and Pure Storage
•  Administer Palo Alto network security infrastructure, VLAN segmentation, and F5 load balancing
AI & emerging technology
•  Deploy and operate LLM inference services and MCP servers as AI infrastructure expands
•  Evaluate and adopt emerging AI developer tooling including coding assistants and infrastructure co-pilots

What We’re Looking For
The non-negotiables:
•  7+ years of hands-on systems or infrastructure engineering in a production environment
•  Deep Linux experience — RHEL/Rocky Linux at scale, including performance tuning, hardening, and automation
•  Hands-on Terraform and Ansible; you’ve used IaC to manage real infrastructure, not just demos
•  Scripting fluency in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell for operational and automation workflows
•  Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, load balancing, firewalls
•  Experience with container technologies including Docker and OCI runtimes
•  Security risk assessment, capacity planning, and operational framework experience in production
Strong differentiators:
•  Kubernetes in an enterprise or financial services context — RBAC, CNI, CSI, workload management
•  Splunk SIEM engineering, CrowdStrike Falcon, or Tenable vulnerability management experience
•  Financial services, trading, or other high-availability, low-latency environment background
•  NetApp or Pure Storage enterprise storage experience
•  AWS or Azure production operations experience
•  Certifications: RHCSA, RHCE, CKA, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent
