Our client, a well-known asset management firm in Midtown, NY, is looking to add an Operations Analyst to their Trade Operations team! Responsibilities of this position will be covering all trade operations functions with a focus on trade settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions. The ideal candidate will come with at least five years of trade operations experience for an established hedge fund or asset manager, strong product knowledge in equity and fixed income securities, and strong technical capabilities in Excel and Bloomberg.
Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing the settlement process for all traded securities with a focus on Fixed Income and Equity products
- Processing wires, monitoring funding requirements, and confirming cash balances
- Reconciling cash and position breaks between the company, custodians, and fund administrators
Requirements:
- 5+ years in trade operations for an established hedge fund or asset management firm
- Advanced knowledge of equity and fixed income products is required, experience with SMAs, Mutual Funds, and EFTs is a plus
- Strong technical capabilities in Excel and Bloomberg
Pay: $45-50/hour
