Brett is a Partner at Mission Staffing, where he manages relationships with many of the firm’s top clients across hedge funds, private equity, real estate, investment banking, and consulting. With more than twenty years of recruitment experience in direct hire accounting and finance, he leverages his extensive network and long-standing relationships to provide clients and candidates with meaningful insights and a competitive edge. Before joining Mission, Brett worked in Morgan Stanley’s Client Services/Prime Brokerage Group, overseeing hedge fund relationships. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Paul Herman, Partner is responsible for strengthening Mission’s core recruitment operations and overseeing the direct hire recruitment business. His career spans over a decade specializing in alternative asset management search and business management operations. Paul’s recruitment focus consists of Investor Relations/Business Development, Investment Professionals, and operations placement.
Jonathan is Co Head of our Temporary & Consultant Services division. During Jonathan’s long tenure in account management, sales and new business development, he forged important relationships with many of the leading investment banks, broker dealers, and asset management firms. His areas of expertise include accounting, finance, operations, administrative, technology, risk, legal and compliance. Before joining Mission, Jonathan was Vice President of Sales and Business Development at a large consultant staffing firm.

Max is a seasoned staffing professional and the newly appointed Executive Director of our Temporary Staffing division. With over eight years of experience at Mission, Max has played a pivotal role in connecting top-tier financial and professional services firms in the tri-state area with highly skilled talent. Known for his professionalism, industry knowledge, and reliability, Max partners closely with HR and Finance leaders to identify and place technical professionals in critical roles. Alec joined Mission in 2023 as a Partner, leading the firm’s Direct Hire Accounting & Finance recruitment division. He began his career in accounting with PwC and WP Carey before transitioning into recruitment, where he has spent more than a decade building and transforming teams. Known for his resourcefulness and strategic mindset, Alec is a trusted leader who takes pride in mentoring and developing staff while driving a solutions-oriented approach to business.
Jesse Cohen brings nearly a decade of recruitment experience and is widely recognized as one of New York City’s leading accounting and finance recruiters. He joined Mission Staffing in January 2025 as an Executive Director, where he drives the growth of the firm’s Temporary & Consultant Services division. In this role, Jesse oversees business development, internal hiring and training, growth strategy, brand positioning, and recruitment across Legal, Accounting & Finance, and Office Administration. Valued for his passion, integrity, and dedication, Jesse has built lasting trust with both clients and candidates, establishing himself as a trusted partner for organizations seeking top talent and professionals advancing their careers.
Dave Cornachio is a Director supporting Mission’s Temporary and Consultant Services practice. Dave is a graduate of Northeastern University, and started his career in Investment Banking Operations before finding his passion for Recruiting. Dave is an industry leader, managing successful teams in the consultant, and temporary staffing space.
Tim is a Managing Director within the Front Office Division where he is responsible for the placement of professionals within the following areas: Business Development / Marketing, Investor Relations, Consultant Relations, Product Specialists, and Investor Services. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in Economics and has 5+ years of buy-side recruitment experience. In his free time Tim is an avid golfer, fisherman, a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and Liverpool FC fan, and enjoys summering in Cape Cod.
Eric is a Managing Director and Head of the Investments Division, where he leads recruitment in the alternatives and hedge fund space. He began his career in credit at JPMorgan before moving to Fitch Ratings. Eric has over four years in buyside investment recruiting experience, with a focus in alternatives and credit. He graduated with Honors from the University of Connecticut in 2013 with a B.S. in Finance.
Hannah is an Associate, Executive Recruiter in the Temporary & Consultant Services Division. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Applied Science and Economics. Before joining Mission Staffing, she began her career as a Technical Recruiter but now focuses on sourcing and placing candidates across all sectors within finance.
Jesse is a Managing Director and Head of our Middle Office and Execution Division, where he leads recruitment across Middle Office Operations, Trade Execution, Portfolio Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Wealth Management. Jesse graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Economics and has over five years in buyside investment recruiting experience.
Rachel is an Executive Recruiter focused on the finance industry, including banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds, private equity, credit, and real estate. As a team leader, she drives talent sourcing, manages placement negotiations, and provides guidance on compensation trends. She is a graduate of Indiana University.

A former Division I water polo player at Iona University, she earned both her B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology there.
Philip brings extensive experience to his role at Mission, having begun his career in the audit division at PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving into both the sell- and buy-side. He later played a key role in growing Deutsche Bank’s Prime Brokerage business and went on to work with leading hedge funds such as Satellite Asset Management, Saba Capital, and Sandell Asset Management. Philip holds a Finance degree from the University of Connecticut and an MBA in Finance from Pace University.

Amanda is a Vice President and all-around athlete, leading the Office Support Division at Mission. She is specialized within the following areas: Human Resources, Administrative Support, Office/Facilities Management, and Events. Amanda has extensive experience within relationship management. She has the proven ability to produce high quality results for both candidates and clients across the alternative asset management space. Amanda attended and played D1 lacrosse at University of Michigan and University of Southern California, graduating with a B.A in Communications from USC.
Michaela oversees Recruitment Operations for the Temporary and Consulting division, providing key administrative and operational support to ensure the team runs efficiently. Known for her strong organizational skills, she helps streamline processes and execution. She is a 2019 graduate of Florida State University.

Nick is a Vice President in Mission’s Financial Services practice, specializing in the placement of professionals in Middle Office Operations, Trade Execution, Portfolio Finance, Treasury, Risk, Marketing, and Wealth Management. He brings extensive experience cultivating strong relationships with candidates and clients across the alternatives and asset management industry. Nick earned his undergraduate degree from Temple University and his master’s degree from Rutgers University.

A graduate of Cortland State University, John was a member of the Varsity Football team and part of the 2023 Division III National Championship squad. Outside the office, he is a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan.
