Mission Staffing, a recruiter for alternative investment firms, has made a series of hires in recent months. Joining the New York search firm from Tandym Group are Tim McGuire, managing director and head of the business development/investor relations practice; Eric Vaheb, managing director and head of the front office practice, focusing on placing investment professionals; and Jesse Blumenau, managing director who focuses on the operations, execution, marketing and wealth management recruitment practice. The expansion effort is led by Paul Herman, who spent more than 11 years at Tandym before joining Mission.recently as a partner. Additionally, former Atlas Search executive Alec Bernstein joined Mission as a partner to run the accounting/finance division alongside partner Brett Skolnik. Mission was founded by Jonathan Gelfand.
