Job Description:

Capital Raising

  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies to raise capital across the private bank, RIA, and family office channels.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and allocators.
  • Assist in and help drive the full fundraising lifecycle, including sourcing prospective investors, presenting the firm’s investment strategy, responding to investor inquiries and due diligence requests, and supporting the close of capital commitments.
  • Provide ongoing communication to investors regarding fund performance, portfolio activity, and relevant market developments.

Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective investors through regular outreach, meetings, and presentations.
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships by delivering timely, thoughtful engagement and tailored investment discussions.

Market Intelligence & Strategy Development

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and investor sentiment to support sales strategy refinement and uncover new fundraising opportunities.
  • Contribute insights on institutional and retail investor behavior, competitive dynamics, and evolving preferences to enhance marketing materials and overall positioning.

Sales Execution & Reporting

  • Design and implement customized sales plans for the private bank, RIA, and family office segments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of investor interactions and fundraising activity within the firm’s CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates to the Head of Investor Relations on fundraising progress, capital inflows, and key performance metrics.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Head of Investor Relations and the broader investor relations team to support fundraising and client engagement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development and knowledge growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including investment and legal/compliance, to ensure alignment and execution across the firm.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in capital raising across the private bank, RIA, and family office channels, ideally within private equity or alternative asset management.
  • Demonstrated success in raising capital from private banks, RIAs, and family offices, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding fundraising objectives.
  • Strong understanding of private equity markets, investment strategies, and both institutional and retail investor preferences.

  • Sales & Fundraising Acumen: Proven ability to cultivate investor relationships, manage sales cycles, and successfully close capital commitments.
  • Client-Facing Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex investment concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Relationship Management: Experience managing senior-level investor relationships while delivering a high standard of client service.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to design and execute customized fundraising strategies aligned with investor needs and market opportunities.
