This policy explains what personal information Mission Staffing collects through our website and our staffing services, how we use it, and the choices you have. It includes the full terms of our SMS text messaging program for temporary and consulting personnel on assignment.
Mission Staffing is an executive search and staffing firm based in New York City, serving the alternative asset management industry. In this policy, “Mission Staffing,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Mission Staffing Inc. and Mission Staffing Temporary & Consulting Services Inc.

If you consent to receive text messages from us, we collect and record:
Together these make up your consent record. We also keep a log of the messages sent to you and their delivery status.
We use the information described in Section 2 to:
Information collected for the SMS program is used only to operate that program and to demonstrate that you consented to it. Section 7 describes exactly what we send and what we do not.
Our website and our operations may use third-party services, including:
These providers process data on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes we direct.
The above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information is not shared with any third parties.
Our SMS platform and telecommunications providers are the only parties that ever receive your mobile number in connection with the text messaging program. They act solely as our service providers, may use the information only to transmit our messages to you, and are contractually prohibited from using it for their own purposes, from selling it, and from disclosing it to anyone else.
Mission Staffing runs a text messaging program for temporary and consulting personnel who are on assignment with us. The program exists for one reason: to get timesheets in on time and to keep you informed about the practical details of your assignment.
We do not use text messages for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. We will not text you about open roles, job opportunities, referral programs, events, newsletters, or any other promotional content. Every message you receive under this program is transactional and relates to an assignment you are currently working.
You join by giving express written consent — by checking the consent box on our onboarding form, by signing an assignment agreement that includes the consent language, or by texting a keyword to our number. We only text people who have taken one of those steps.
You will receive up to 2 messages per week. Actual frequency varies with your assignment. In a week with no timesheet due and no schedule changes, you may receive no messages at all.
Message and data rates may apply. Mission Staffing does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them under your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message from us. We will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further texts under this program. You can rejoin at any time by texting START or by asking your Mission Staffing contact.
For help, reply HELP to any message from us and you will receive our support contact information. You can also email nyc@missionstaffing.com or call 212.758.5211.
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you stop receiving texts, your Mission Staffing contact will reach you by email or telephone instead.
Consent to receive text messages from Mission Staffing is entirely optional. It is not a condition of employment, of being placed on an assignment, of continuing an assignment, of being paid, or of receiving any other service from us.
You may decline when you are asked, or opt out later at any time, and we will use email or telephone instead. Declining or opting out will not affect your assignment, your pay, your eligibility for future placements, or your standing with Mission Staffing in any way.
We keep candidate and client information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.
We keep your SMS consent record — name, mobile number, consent choice, timestamp, IP address, and source of consent — for as long as you remain opted in, and then for four years after you opt out or after your last assignment with us ends, whichever comes later. Four years matches the federal statute of limitations for claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and we retain the record so that we can demonstrate that consent was given. After that period we delete the consent record or remove the details that identify you.
If you reply STOP, we keep a minimal suppression record — your mobile number and the date you opted out — for as long as we operate the program, so that we do not text you again by mistake. That record is used for no other purpose.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information collected through our website and our services.
Consent records and message logs are held in access-controlled systems, available only to the Mission Staffing staff who administer assignments, payroll, and compliance.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date revised. If we make a material change to how the SMS program works, we will tell you before the change takes effect.
