Our client, a well known investment bank in Midtown, NY, is looking to add a Control Room Officer to their compliance team! Responsibilities of this position include assistance in implementing and maintaining new and existing compliance programs, coordinating and performing various risk assessments, and performing trade surveillance. The ideal candidate will come with at least five years’ experience in control room compliance for a large investment bank, strong communication skills, and any recognized compliance certificates would be a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining established regulatory compliance guidelines as well as assisting with the implementation of new ones
- Coordinating and performing various compliance/risk assessments and trade surveillance
- Providing compliance oversight and offer recommendations to improve current regulatory compliance programs
Requirements:
- At least five years’ experience in control room compliance for a large bank or broker-dealer
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication and organization skills
Pay: $45-50/hour
