Supporting a platform with $170B+ in AUM, 500+ funds, and over 10,000 investments, this is an outstanding opportunity to gain exposure to several high-profile initiatives, including a new Treasury Management System, fund administrator platform implementation, and other large-scale Fund Finance and Treasury transformation projects. There are currently five major initiatives underway, and upon successful completion, this individual will transition into the Product Owner/Product Manager for the platform, owning its ongoing development and enhancement.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Technology teams to gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Support multiple strategic initiatives, including the implementation of a Treasury Management System, Fund Administrator platform, and several large-scale private debt technology projects.
- Analyze and improve fund finance, treasury, and accounting workflows while identifying opportunities to automate and enhance existing processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, and production support.
- Work with technology teams to support enhancements to fund accounting and finance platforms.
- Following implementation, assume ownership of the platform as the Product Owner/Product Manager, driving future enhancements and ongoing business support.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, Fund Finance, Investment Operations, Controllership, Finance Business Analysis, or Finance Transformation within Private Equity and/or Private Credit.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting, financial reporting, NAV production, capital calls, distributions, treasury operations, fund finance, and private markets operations.
- Experience implementing or enhancing fund accounting or finance platforms, including Investran, Geneva, Yardi, Allvue, or similar systems.
- Proven experience gathering business requirements, partnering with stakeholders, and translating business needs into functional and technical solutions.
- Strong technical skills with SQL required and Python strongly preferred.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar BI platforms.
Pay: $65/hr -$70/hr
