Our client, a well-known investment bank, is seeking a Travel & Entertainment (T&E) Expense Operations Analystto join their Finance team. This role will sit within the broader Expense Management team and support the full-cycle T&E expense process, including auditing employee expense reports, managing corporate credit cards, troubleshooting expense system issues, and assisting employees with T&E-related questions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and customer-service focused, with the ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities Include:
- Audit employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with the firm's T&E policy
- Manage and maintain corporate credit card accounts
- Investigate and resolve T&E, corporate card, and expense-related issues
- Assist employees with questions regarding expense policies, corporate cards, and expense systems
- Troubleshoot issues within the Workday expense module
- Mine and analyze expense data to develop management reports
- Execute established and ad hoc expense processes with strong attention to detail
- Identify opportunities to improve procedures, efficiency, and productivity
- Provide high-quality customer service and partner with employees across all levels of the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably within finance or a related discipline
- Prior T&E, expense management, Accounts Payable, or related finance operations experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Workday expense experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
