Job Description:
- Gain exposure to a broad range of specialty finance and alternative investment strategies while supporting ongoing portfolio management.
- Participate in all stages of the investment lifecycle, with increasing responsibility across sourcing, evaluation, underwriting, negotiation, execution, and exits.
- Perform fundamental analysis of private credit and private equity opportunities across diverse industries and situations.
- Monitor and manage existing portfolio investments.
- Work in small, collaborative deal teams alongside senior leadership, with meaningful impact on individual investments and the firm overall.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Experience in consumer finance, particularly with consumer lenders such as installment, BNPL, or subprime/high-APR platforms.
- Exposure to small business lending, including merchant cash advances.
- Strong record of academic and professional achievement.
- Prior experience in private equity, investment banking, credit, management consulting, or similarly rigorous analytical roles.
- Ownership mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage the investment process end to end.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with regular interaction with financial sponsors, management teams, and senior leadership.
