Job Description:
- Manage the documentation process, investment due diligence, including engagement of third-party advisors and legal counsel.
- Present and prepare investment opportunities to the firm’s Investment Committee.
- Monitor portfolio investments and provide detailed performance updates.
- Support the Investment Team’s operational responsibilities.
- Support sourcing and initial screening of direct and syndicated loan investments.
- Monitor market activity through interactions with investment banks, restructuring advisors, private equity sponsors, legal counsel, and other industry professionals.
- Provide transaction structuring and investment analysis.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in private credit, investment banking, or related fields
- Assist the investment team with daily operational tasks, including tracking deals, preparing reports, and managing communication with stakeholders
- Support due diligence efforts, including reviewing financial statements, conducting industry research, and assessing credit risk
- Prepare and update financial models for potential investments and portfolio companies
- Analyze market trends and investment opportunities to provide insights for decision-making
- Coordinate with internal teams, legal, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of investor reporting and other internal documentation
- Monitor portfolio performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement
