Job Description:
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities, including initial screening, financial assessment, and overall deal structuring.
- Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions and assess capital needs.
- Prepare presentations and reports with insights and strategic recommendations for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external advisors, consultants, and partners during all phases of a transaction.
- Assist the investment and strategy team with daily tasks and special projects as needed.
- Monitor performance of portfolio companies, contribute to key initiatives, and support participation in board-related activities.
- Help with business development efforts, including preparing pitch materials and market research.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Background in analyzing investments, building financial models, and supporting transactions, ideally from a top-tier investment bank or comparable finance role.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with advanced experience in financial modeling and valuation.
- Proactive and thrives in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
- Solid judgment when evaluating investments, with a strong ability to spot risks and recommend solutions.
- Clear and professional communicator, both in writing and in person.
- Trusted to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
