Job Description:
- Underwrite and evaluate lower middle-market and middle-market investment opportunities.
- Conduct financial analysis and diligence in partnership with third-party advisors.
- Manage outsourced modeling and presentation workstreams.
- Support deal execution, structuring, and closing.
- Assist with portfolio monitoring and value-creation initiatives.
- Contribute to sourcing and business development efforts, including conference participation.
- Prepare investment materials and present to the Investment Committee.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Prior experience in private equity or a highly analytical investing role.
- Strong underwriting, financial analysis, and diligence capabilities.
- Experience working in a rigorous, value-oriented investment environment.
- Ability to manage third-party advisors and outsourced modeling and materials.
- Comfort evaluating complex or special situations transactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building an emerging platform.
