A fast-growing investment firm seeking a Vice President to join its investment team.

A private equity focused asset manager with over $5 billion in AUM.


Job Description:
  • Lead financing transactions, including financial modeling, due diligence, and preparation of investment committee materials.
  • Support origination by evaluating new opportunities and assisting with sponsor and GP coverage.
  • Manage underwriting processes across legal, accounting, tax, and operations.
  • Conduct in-depth credit analysis of asset managers and fund portfolios, including cash flow modeling and collateral valuation.
  • Prepare and present investment memoranda and supporting materials to the Investment Committee.
  • Monitor portfolio investments, tracking covenants and analyzing performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (legal, operations, compliance) and external advisors (counsel, consultants, banks).
  • Mentor and guide junior investment team members.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in investment banking, private credit, structured finance, fund finance, or related fields.
  • Proven experience underwriting NAV loans, GP financing, subscription lines, or other structured credit transactions with alternative asset managers.
  • Familiarity with insurance company general accounts, regulatory capital, and ALM frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk, fund structures, and private market asset classes.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
